Paata Zaqareishvili, expert in political science believes that the legality of the Hague Court decision in connection with the separation of Kosovo from Serbia will be important for Georgia.
Zaqaerishvili said to the news agency GHN that it is not likely that the Court will one-sidedly decide that the detachment of Kosovo is not legitimate as the most countries of the EU already recognized the independence of Kosovo.
According to Zaqareishvili even the interim decision of the Court will be a great support for Georgia in restoration of territorial integrity. The mere fact that this question is under review is very important. I think that Court will not annul the question of the detachment of Kosovo from Serbia, but I think that it will take the interim decision. This fact will be a serious upholding for Georgian territorial integrity, and for our future fight, "- Zaqareishvili said to GHN.
