In the center of the Batumi the policeman was fired, Merab Meparishvili, 58 was assaulted when he was traveling by a car with his wife.
One bullet he got to the chest area, his wife Lali Chakhnashvili wounded to hand. Witnesses said they heard three gun shots. Nothing is known yet about assaulters.
For information, this is third attar against Meparishvili. The investigation is pending.
