The Anticorruption Department of the Procurator's Office General detained Turkish citizen, director of the commercial company "Doruk & food company" Jaman Chaghatai.
As a result of the Procurator's Office investigation he got as a cheap credit from the state budget in 2008, 1 mn 955 GEL for the construction of citruses' procession manufacture in Qobuleti region. He took an obligation to employ 300 Georgian citizens in that manufacture.
Instead he misappropriated more than a half of the sum not fulfilling any obligation of the loan. No manufacture was constructed neither people employed. As a result he is accused in legalization of illegal incomes and purposeful forgery of customs documentation and misuse of given loan.
According to the Georgian Criminal Code, Article 214 and 208 part two and Article 194 part three in case of finding him guilty he will face 12 years of imprisonment.
