"The April 9 of 1989 is a reason of my pride. This day is of historic importance and a day of victory of Gerogian people morally and politically," - Irakli Batiashvili member of Democratic Movement said to GHN.
He said he was one of the organizer of the April 9 protest action together with Zviad Gamsakhurdia, Merab kostava, Irakli Tsereteli and Gia Chanturia.
"This day is associated with a big pain in our nation, in that grand fight bloodshed of our counterparts was caused by USSR monster, "- Batiashvili said
