For all Georgians the April 9 of 1989 was very tragic day. I had had two different feelings, from the one side I was very proud that all Georgian people were united in one fist and was fighting for the independence and dignity with bare hands. From the other side I feel great pain for that tragedy which happens at that day, "- Burjanadze said in conversation with GHN.
She noted that it is very sad that after 20 years we still did not achieved the main aim for which people died at that day. Burjanadze wishes to the country to live in a dignified Georgia from the next year.
