Worsening of relations with Israel will badly affect international relations of Georgian republic, Irakli Sesiashvili, exert in security questions said, GHN reports.
"Israel is a main country which cooperated with Georgia in the military sphere. Georgia was supplied with the modern military equipment from it. We in fact got all military technique from Israel only. At the same time Israel, having many enemies managed to provide own security and safety for the country. It has such security system which affords the minimal security risks for the country. Israel is one of the leading countries which trains the staff for special services, defense system and civil defense system. This country can help us, moreover if we take into consideration our long friendly relations. In one word Israel could be our one of the best partners. Moreover Israel is a somehow financial center and worsening of relations with this country denotes worsening of relations not only with one country, but serious problems with political and economic circles in the world. It is well known that in USA Israel have a big lobby and a big Diaspora. Having this in consideration the conflict with Georgia which started after the detention of Israeli businessmen will affect relations with other countries as well, "- expert said in conversation with GHN.
He as well considers that Israel recently blacklisted Georgia in the internal list of dangerous countries list in connection with the imprisonment and court trial of Israeli businessmen. "Moreover one of Israeli companies initiated the legal pleading against Georgia. After 4 years passing it demands form Georgian Republic 100 mn USD for the breach of a contract. Likewise this case as well is connected with the detention and imprisonment of Israeli businessmen.
Expert believes the only solution for keeping relations with Israel is a pardoning of Israeli businessmen, but this as well will not return those good relations which were established previously. The Tel Aviv considers the case with the detention of its businessmen not as a fight against the crime but a trick of Georgian government. Many times letters from Tel Aviv asking for businessmen were ignored by Official Tbilisi.
