The first document is about the evaluation of humanitarian questions in the post August war period. The second one touches question of Russia's obligations before international community in Georgian question.
The authors of the resolution are members of monitoring committee Kastrio Islam and Michael Yensen. The 40-pages document reads that despite of the consequences of 2008 war and political deadlock which damaged the political environment, Georgian government achieved big results over making huge efforts and achieved a progress in fulfillment of obligations before CoE.
At the same time they made several notions for Georgia. "Georgia did not fulfill some formalities concerning membership issue. The problems remain in the question of independent Judiciary and effective Court system, "- the report reads. The authors believe that despite of the strong democratic institutions, for the decision of political tensions question it is necessary to carry out the democratic reforms.
"The strength of the democratic system must be approved over the Parliamentary and Presidential elections. We advise the PACE to continue the monitoring procedure in Georgia, "- the report reads.
The PACE opened in Strasbourg yesterday and will be closed on April 15.
