In Berlin the NATO-Georgia commission sitting is accomplished. Secretary General of the Alliance wished to Georgian side success in aspiration to Euro Atlantic bodies.
Andres Fog Rasmussen said the role of Georgia is very important, he estimated positively reforms in the country and said they were very successful.
NATO Secretary General said the main aim of the sitting is to deepen the relations between NATO and Georgia.
"For the last period of time the relations of Georgia with NATO are very deep and important. As well in all Euro Atlantic area. Georgia plays an important role in terms of the global security alongside with the alliance. I would like to take an advantage and to thank for Georgia's participation in Afghanistan peacekeeping operation. I would like to express my deep sorrow for the families of died soldiers in Afghanistan. At the today's sitting we will summaries the NATO and Georgia relations. We are envisaging the perspectives in our relations as well, "- he said.
