Today on April 18 Georgia will visit USA Republican Senators.
The delegation consists of John F. Kelly (Arizona), Jeff Seshon (Alabama), Michael Krapo (Idaho), and Rhone Jonson (Wisconsin). They are in Georgia in the frames of Eastern European tourney. The news agency GHN was informed from Security Council that the USA delegation will hold meetings with President, Parliament Chair, opposition representatives, EUMM and NGOs representatives, they will attend the occupational border line.
Tim Morrison, Aide of senator Kelly informed that the main aim of the visit is to be introduced with the outcomes of the "reset policy" with Russia in the Eastern Europe.
Senator John F. Kelly is a leading member of the USA Senate Judicial Committee, since 2008 he is a chair of the fraction in Republican Party. He many times criticized the "reset policy" in Senate. In 206 the "Time" enlisted him in a 10 best senators.
John F. Kelly was elected to the Michigan State Senate in 1978 from Detroit at age 28 and served four consecutive four-year terms. At his first caucus Kelly was elected asMajority Whip and authored over 100 pieces of legislation and amendments that became law, including the state investment anti-apartheid laws for South Africa and the McBride antidiscrimination employment laws for Northern Ireland. He served on committees with jurisdiction over the judiciary, banking and economic development, health policy, local government and public finance. He served on the National Commission on Uniform Law, the Michigan Law Revision Commission and as a delegate to the National Conference on State Legislatures. Dr. Kelly served on a National Commission on Distressed States and is committed to projects to revitalize the City of Detroit.In 1994 he stood for election to the U.S. Senate requiring retirement from the state legislature.
Dr. John F. Kelly currently serves as Associate Dean at the National Defense University's Africa Center for Strategic Studies. Kelly was a four-term Michigan state Senator and a 1994 candidate for the U.S. Senate. He has 35 years of experience in higher education, civil government and military science, and has served in the United States Army as a defense attaché and a Judge Advocate General. His scholarly expertise lies in internal security and homeland defense, civilian policy development, electoral reform and democracy, and southern Africa.
