Abkhazia officially applied to Ecuador to review the question of recognition of independence of the republic. Maxim Ghvinjilia, deputy foreign minister of secessionist Abkhazia said this in his interview with ITAR TASS.
Gvinjilia pays an official visit to Ecuador, he said that the delegation passed the official letter to the Ecuador party asking about  official recognition of independence. "As well  range of documents and materials were passed to them about the history of our country and the history of the conflict with Georgia."
Ecuador will deliver an official statement on this issue in the nearest days.
The Abkhazian delegation will depart from Ecuador to Venezuela were the meetings with representatives of foreign bodies of the country and with Secretary General of Bolivarian Alliance is planned.
