The Charitable Foundation Caritas Georgia is organizing an opening of a Professional Carpentry Workshop in Tbilisi.
The event will take place on Wednesday 11th May, at 12:00, 3 V. Ninua str., Tbilisi.
The event acquires particular importance, since the project "Carpentry Workshop" has been elaborated with the purpose of giving an opportunity to vulnerable youth to gain professional skills for their future employment and contribute to the charitable activity of Caritas Georgia with the income of "carpentry workshop".
We have a pleasure to host: The Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from Occupied Territories of Georgia, Accommodation and Refugees Mr. Koba Subeliani, H.E. the Apostolic Nuncio in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Doyen of the Diplomatic Corps to Georgia Msgr. Claudio Gugerotti, H.E. the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Georgia Mr. Ivan JESTŘÁB with spouse, H.E. the Ambassador of Poland in Georgia Mrs. Urszula Doroszewska, the Deputy Head of Mission of Switzerland to Georgia Ms. Anita Schluechter, the Deputy Head of Mission of Japan Mr. Isamu Azechi. We also expect other VIP persons from Governmental structures and International Organizations.
The Charitable Foundation "Caritas" has been functioning in Georgia since 1994 working for the benefit of the poorest and most unprotected people notwithstanding their nationality, creed or social status.
The project "Professional Carpentry Workshop" falls under the Development Program of Caritas Georgia and tends to achieve the following objectives:
• professional education of vulnerable youth;
• creation of job places;
• establishment of income- generating enterprises meeting up-to-date standards;
• manufacturing of high quality production;
• training of qualified personnel;
• assisting the most unprotected children and elderly people in Georgia.
The reconstruction and arrangement of the "Professional Carpentry Workshop" have been kindly financed by different international partners and donors.
