Parliamentary Forum of Democratic Commonwealth was opened in Hotel Radisson today. The topic of the international forum is Democratization in Europe and in European Neighborhood.

The event was opened by the president of the forum Emanuel Zingers.

The speaker of the Georgian parliament Davit Bakradze has also delivered a speech at the forum. Bakradze spoke about the role of the Rose Revolution in the democratic development of Georgia.

Speaker said the Rose Revolution was the first indicator of the fact, that people are devoted to the European and Democratic values in the post-soviet state.

Three sessions are scheduled for today. The president of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek will also deliver a speech at the event.
