The plenary session of Georgian parliament will discuss the draft document over Cherkass genocide case.
Nugzar Tsiklauri, Chairman of the Georgian Parliamentary Committee of Diaspora and Caucasian Affairs the parliament will discuss the draft of resolution elaborated and backed by the four parliamentary committees.
Discussions over the Cherkass issue have been ongoing for already one year in Georgia with scientists and experts. According to historical materials, 90 percent of Cherkass populations were exiled from their homeland and more than 20 percent were killed in 19-20th centuries.
