The TV company Rustavi 2 reports that Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has released scandalous recording of telephone conversations between the leader of the Democratic Movement Nino Burjanadze and her son Anzor Bitsadze. Burjanadze led the rallies of the People`s Assembly since May 21, demanding resignation of the president and threatening with revolution.
The dialogue shows that Burjanadze discusses the plan of state revolt, how the processes could develop after the rallies. Anzor Bitsadze said it would be acceptable of the political processes developed the way it occurred in Egypt.
The mother and the son also predict the probable number of casualties during the revolt, which they said was from 100 to 500 people. They also discuss the prospects of relations with Russia.
Prior to the publication of the tape, the Ministry of Interior official, Shota Utiashvili said the organizers of the street protests were planning state revolt in the country.
Utiashvili said no leaders of the opposition parties were arrested, but the number of people, who were detained and sent to custody with administrative charges, reached 90. He also said the criminal cases were built up on the car accidents, which killed two people last night.
