Thousands of people gathered outside the Parliament, where two days ago police dispersed protest rally. The protest action against violence firstly gathered at Shota Rustaveli monument in downtown Tbilisi and marched towards the Parliament on Rustaveli Avenue.
Several human rights organizations including Former Political Prisoners for Human Rights called the rally on May 27 to condemn violence. Participants are demanding to release arrested protesters and investigation of excessive force used. Levan Gachechiladze, Jaba Dhzishkariani and other politicians are participating in this gathering.
