The resolution passed by European Parliament is one more proof for the upholding of the territorial integrity of Georgia, the legislative and executive bodies admit, GHN reports.
The Georgian side welcomes call of the EU for fulfillment by Russian Federation of taken obligations.
"This is one of the important elements in the politics of reoccupation which are we conducting together with our partners. Passing of such resolutions is a very important lever for putting pressure over Russian Federation. The contemporary Russia depends upon decisions taken by EU. Consequently in Russia's interests are to fulfill the resolution and all demands of it. It touches not only situation in Georgia but as well the internal situation in Russian Federation, " - Batu Kutelia, Deputy Security Council said.
