Merab Berdzenishvili, a well known painter, professor addresses to USA envoy John Baas with open letter he calls him to leave Georgia.
"Your inappropriate declaration on May 25 made possible for some persons to have free hands and to commit a crime, a tragedy followed after this, and innocent people died, " - the open letter reads.
He said Baas talks about international law principles and at the same time violates them. He said Baas has no right to interfere with internal affairs of nation. "This is not a mission of the envoy. This was an irrevocable mistake of envoy. You put under danger relations between Georgian people and USA people. Georgian people are loosing trust to you after that TV declaration on May 25. This caused a death of innocent people. You have no moral right to remain in Georgia. You have to leave the country, "- Merab Berdzenishvili's open letter reads.
