Vanuatu Foreign Ministry explained the reasons for the recognition of the Abkhazian Republic. The information is place d on the official web page of the Vanuatu government.
The explanations contains declaration about fight for abolition of colonialism all over in the world and willingness to establish trade relations with Abkhazia and as well with Georgia. They said that are well aware about the geopolitical situation in this region as the Minister of foreign Affairs of the country was educated in 1987 in Moscow State University.
