Today on June 20 in Brussels the dialogue on human rights issues will be conducted between Georgia and EU.
The EU Representative Office in Tbilisi informed news agency GHN during the discussions a wide spectrum of questions will be discussed. The May 26 events concerning the dispersion of public manifestation will be reviewed, on unproportioned force used by the Police. The question of media freedom in Georgia will be discussed as well.
"The EU pays an attention to the human rights issues in Georgia and watches the situation in this area. The dialogue between Georgia and EU is a bilateral process and it is recognized as a successful one. Parties should decide the problematic questions. EU content that before next round of a dialogue the meeting was held with NGOs working in human rights issues, " - the declaration of Philippe Dimitrov, head of EU Representative Office reads.
