Georgian President discussed with members of government, the situation in Shida Qartli at Rikoti pass linking Eastern Georgia with the Western part of the country.
As a result of heavy rains in Central Georgia 4 people killed over mudslide and damaged key roads at a two-kilometer tunnel. Heavy rains damaged roads and flooded houses in several villages the Kakheti region.
President discussed with the representatives of Georgian government the necessary restoration works at the region. He estimated positively the rehabilitation works and said that the country should be always prepared for the natural disasters occurrence, moreover that the tourist season is near and this road has a big importance this time.
