Nino Burjanadze, leader of the political movement "Democratic Movement" said the only result which the Political Eight reached with a government was that it prolonged a term of its presence at the power.

"How can we name the Political Eight an oppositional union? This is up to the public to decide. The only result which was reached by this union was that the presence of being at power will be increased for the government. The future elections will come and the elections environment will remain unchanged, " - Burjanadze commented the above mentioned situation.
She said the governmental suggestions for the elections environment improvement are shameful.
"These suggestion mean that the financing from the government will get only those political parties which will be under governmental - inclined influence, " - Burjanadze said.

She expressed her astonmishment in connection with the decision of New Rights and said she did not understand why ht e New Rights now are willing to increase the number of Parliamentarians when a several years ago they went on hunger strike to decrease the number of Parliamentarians. (when she was a Parliamentary Chairperson).

She said no one form the serious suggestions of the opposition were not considered by the government in its plan for improvement.
