After the meeting during the briefing Grigol Vashadze declared that the talks touched the issues of CoE (Council of Europe) and the relations with Georgia.

It is to be noted that Michelin Calmi-Rey visited Georgia in her capacity as president of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.  

"The talk touches several issues concerning Georgia, particularly, how should CoE continue the review of the 2008 Russian- Georgian war; the so-called repatriation of Turks-Meskhets; the question of human rights defense in Georgia. The negotiations were very useful. Temur Iakobashvili, State Minister will present in February in the CoE the new concept of the Georgian government in connection with the occupied territories. This strategy may play very important role. I hope that CoE will help Georgia in that, " - Grigol Vashadze said.

Michelin Calmi-Rey arrived to Georgia today. Swiss Diplomat will hold meetings with Temur Iakobashvili, Reintegration Minister, with Zurab Adeishvili, Justice Minister and with Vano Merabishvili, Interior Minister. She will meet as well Mikhail Saakashvili, President of Georgia.
