At the Committee of Ministers in CoE, during the discussion on the democratic development of countries the report of Jean Louis Loran was heard. As a results parties were to pass a decision on progress achieved in Georgia and reforms carried out in our country. Nevertheless for Russian Federation this appears to be unacceptable.
The Russian Federation demanded to exempt two points form the report. Particularly the document reads that EU member countries welcome the progress achieved by Georgian Republic. This phrase RF demanded to remove. As well the RF delegation disagrees with CoE evaluation in that Georgia fulfills all taken obligations before CoE. For these reasons the RF delegation applied to radical methods and demanded to vote. As a result of voting it appeared that only Russian Federation's delegation upheld the removal these phrases from the document. No country upheld this initiative.
