The Georgian Party still waits for Russian Federation response in connection with starting negotiations. Nino Kalandadze, Deputy Foreign Minister said today commenting the declaration of Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister.
"This declaration of Russian Foreign Minister is not acceptable in legislative view. For the official response we will wait for the reply to our note sent to them. The position on our note must be fixed in a reasonable time limits, "- Kalandadze said.
At the same time the disposition of Lavrov made it clear that Russia never intended to make a dialogue over the facts of racial discrimination against Georgians and persecution on the basis of ethnicity.
The Georgian diplomats say the arguments of Russian side why they are avoiding the dialogue and responsibility before Georgia are inadequate.
For information, under the Hague Court enquiry, the Georgian side passed over the Swiss embassy the official note to the Kremlin for starting of negotiations.
