"The Assembly General's resolution looks at fist glance very humanistic, "- Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister said after the Russian Duma's International Committee stating commenting the UN resolution passed in connection with status of IDPs and refugees in Georgia.
"The resolution, which the UN passed, is dedicated to the refugees form Abkhazia and S.O. and at the first glance it looks very humanistic. At the same time we should not forget that with the consent of Tbilisi, Sokhumi, Tskhinvali, USA, Russia, EU, UN and OSCE there is such mechanism as well as the Geneva talks are and this theme is discussed by all interested parties, " - Lavrov said.
If Georgians will decide that this format of talks is not for them and they wish to discuss it in UN then they should to invite here S.O. and Abkhazia for equal hearing of all parties. Nevertheless, Lavrov said that as soon Abkhazians and S.O. representatives decided to take part in Assembly General's sitting they were refused visas in USA.
"It would be undesirable to stop the discussion of this subject at Geneva negotiations for the present actions of Tbilisi, "- Lavrov said.
