Ukrainian CEC did not take decision again about the registration of Georgian observers. The decision from the 15 members of CEC upheld only 6, 8 members- abstained from taking the decision, one member was against registration.
One of the members of Ukrainian CEC declared that it is unclear for him why from the Georgian embassy 2011 observers' registration was requested, at the same time other countries requested only 276 observers.
On the other hand Grigol Qatamadze, Georgian envoy to Ukraine said that the Ukrainian legislation does not prohibit the quantity of observers, and the request for registration from Georgian Embassy to Ukrainian CEC was delivered on January 4.
