Nevertheless today it appeared that the Bill on the status of religious organizations was signed by President on July 5. This denotes hat the legislation is enforced.

"The legislation is so important and dangerous that the lawenforcers should think twice before its passing. They should think what consequences it may bring in 10 and even in 100 years passing, "- Patriarch said.

‘We are lacking of the analytical thinking. We should analyze the situation before the staring of an affair and not after its accomplishment. Our position is that we should nor give a legal status to other religions in our country. Our position is that we should discuss these problems with scientists, with spiritual persons and specialists. Unfortunately the legislators were in a hury and passed the Bill in one day, "- Patriarch said.

His Holiness said his words are not denoting something against Armenians and despite many talks Georgians and Armenians always were friends.

"When Armenians were in troubles, we were at help for them and they in turn were supporting us, when we are in difficulties. Nevertheless this legislation is so complicated that it might be used with negative intentions. That is why we have to predetermine all factors. When they are talking about the interference of a religion in the affairs of state, I would say this is not an affair of a state only. This is a question which touches all nation, the Church and especially the state, " - His Holiness said.
He said that the controversies in this question will cause disagreements between different religions in the society and this should not be allowed.
After his speech he talked about necessity for search of the justice and truth.
