One of the photographers who was detained last night with allegation in espionage went on hunger strike, GHN reports. Dmitri Tikaridze, editor of Alia Holding said to GHN.
"Abdaladze is our employee and he went on hunger strike, he is alleged under the Article 314 of Georgian Criminal Code, but nobody can explain what this crime mean, " - Tikaradze said to GHN.
Abdaladze said to journalist and to international organization for support and solidarity to detained persons.
For information, today photographers were detained in allegation with espionage in favor of some foreign country, the case is under the security classification. This crime stipulates keeping of secret materials concerning Georgian government, for the purpose of its passing to the foreign countries organizations of representations. And the conduction of the surveillance against interests of Georgian state. Such crime is punishable for the 8-12 years of imprisonment.
