The manifestation in support of the Orthodox Church was held yesterday in Tbilisi, GHN reports.
The manifestation started at the Qashveti Church to the direction of Trinity Cathedral. The movement was headed by clergymen. Bypasses were joining the manifestation. The tall was heard when protesters neared to the Trinity Cathedral. Cathalicos Patriarch of All Georgia met the manifestation. He said: "Ask and you will be given!"
The protest action was conducted for the support of Orthodox Church to abolish the decision of Parliament on granting the status of public law juridical person to religions organizations.
