The murder which occurred in the city of Telavi, Kakheti Region, three days ago, has been opened by the police by detention of Akaki Darbaidze, 35. Darbaidze shot dead the resident of the village he was from, Gia Kirvalidze, 48, in a truck on Friday. He had seven bullets in his body out of twenty fired by the killer, Rustavi 2 reports.
Kirvalidze`s relatives say the motive of the murder could be only revenge. Kirvalidze was a police officer ten years ago, but he was involved in the flour distribution business recently.
