It is three month already as Inga Grigolia, famous journalist, leaved for London for the permanent residence. She resigned from GPB (Georgian Public Broadcasting), and it was a great sensation. Presently she studies English by the intensive program. She has an ambition for the new achievements. At New Year's she returned to Tbilisi and consulted with Giorgi Targamadze, her colleague, about non TV subjects...
They have too much in common to share with each other: the dramatic past of the "Imedi" TV, friendship and the name of Badri Patarkatsishvili, prominent patron of them. He always will appear suddenly till a team of politicized journalists will exist. At the end of our "Opera" in 2013, he may appear again. But it is too long till that time, and we cannot surmise about this subject.
She, Inga Grigolia, was a Mata Harry of the Georgian TV. She still is acceptable for the electorate and may be useful for the opposition inclined Giorgi Targamadze. But Grigolia understands well that in the area of politicized TV there is no room for her. (At "Rustavi-2" - here is a "black cat" Maya Asatiani, at "Imedi" - the "white cat" Nanuka Jzorjzoliani and at the GPB the "dressed in pink" Nino Kajaia). Accordingly it is necessary for her to think about the future and about carrier immediately.
However for us it is very interesting what about she consulted with Giorgi Targamadze. Maybe he asked her to move into politics, as the well known journalists almost all are in Christian Democrat's opposition party. In fact she returned for several days to Tbilisi and met demonstratively with the press but not with the TV companies. She declared that after April this year she will not return to the TV and she is seriously inclined to turn to politics.
In any case what decision will take Inga Grigolia, it is clear that to be a journalist this mean to have a free will and freedom of choice, but to be politician this is a subject of reasonableness only. And clear is as well that Inga Grigolia does not need a cheep popularity.
But it is not easy to return to Eden again.
