Dmitri Ghvindadze, Finance Minister will hold a special briefing today on July 13, at 12:00, GHN reports. In the frames of this briefing Ghvindadze will present before the journalists the information about "Free Economic Act" initiated by government.
Nika Gilauri, Prime Minister declared yesterday the government will start to propagate the "Free Economic Act". He said the Act which was passed last year is directed to the inflow of investments to the country and is an important factor for the development. Prime Minister tasked the Finance Minister to hold a briefing in nearest days and to make public the details of the "Free Economic Act".
"The Free Economic Act is passed already and we think it is a very important economic legislation. We were working under this law very long time. During two month MPs, parliamentarians and members of government and foreign experts joined the work. We get to know with the experience of many foreign countries in this respect and eventually we choose this important legislation. This is a legislation of long term economic stability, "- Prime Minister said.
Here are tree priorities: budget deficit must not exceed 3%; the maximal debt for GDP not higher 60%; the maximal expenses should be no more than 30% of the GDP. This will give a ground for stability, the debt will not increase and the private sector will not be pressed.
