Georgia still did not overcome the poverty problem. The preliminary results of UNISEF research showed this, GHN reports.
The Fund of Ronald Monash representative said in Georgia the problem still exists despite of development of economics and actie work of the government for the social problems.
He said that the main problem is that the families in need are not getting the financial support.
"Out of 3 socially unprotected only 3 families is getting the support, "- he noted.
He positively estimated the governmental insurance program which saves the population from the extreme poverty.
