WikiLeaks" published leaked secret information from USA State Department. One of its information touched the question of NATO membership for Ukraine and Georgia. It appeared that the Ukraine and Georgia were refused to MAP by the France and Germany in fright before the Russian Federation relationships failure.
"Kyiv Post" - informed that in 2008 Ukraine was very close to getting the MAP, the support form the USA was sent instantly after the making declaration for willingness to join the club.
"The review of this question was planned at the Bucharest NATO summit in April. Nevertheless Germany and France were against this decision.
