President Saakashvili visited today the Personal Computers factory in Tbilisi which will function with the partnership with Intel corp.
It is expected that the factory will produce yearly up to the million notebooks.
"We are the witnesses of the historic event. This is a first enterprise in Georgia which will produce a high quality product. Before we have had only a small splashes in the area of high tech. the results are expected in 10-15 years and the generation will grow up which will think differently, "- Sakashvili said.
In 2010-2011 yy 60 000 pupils will got as a present form the government notebooks produced in the new factory. 100 people are employed now there. The average wages are GEL 500-700
