Abkhazia is ready for negotiations with Georgia without any preconditions. This declaration was made by the so-called acting President of Abkhazia Alexander Anquab over the Russian TV RBK - TV.
‘We are not going to live in constant confrontation with anybody. For this reasons we will not quit as well Geneva international talks, "- Alexander Anquab said. He noted that for today all preconditions exist to develop Abkhazia's statehood.
At the same time he admits that there are problems in connection with the recognition of Abkhazia at the international area. He as well noted that the attitude of the international community will change with time passing. Anquab calls to not to compare the Abkhazian state with any other cases, particularly with Kosovo, as all states have its own originality.
"The conflict with Georgia and the event of August 2008 is clear. Happens what the Abkhazian people were fighting for many years, "- Anquab said.
He said that at the conflict with Georgia the talks were about Abkhazians as an ethnos survival. Anquab underlined that Russia did the "asolutely right steps in this direciton".
