The Finance ministry's Investigative service detained a Georgian citizen Babak Nagiev for smuggling at the Georgia-Azerbaijani border.
The investigation detected that Babik Nagiev was trying to transport with hidden container jewelry to Azerbaijan. The goods he transported counted GEL 51 000. The golden jewelry was 585.
The investigation is pending what loss he caused to the state budget. The investigation is pending under the GCC art 214 which stipulates 5-7 years of imprisonment.
