The isolation of the Belarus is not admissible, President Saakashvili said at the joint briefing with the Polish President Bronislav Komorovski, which is being in Georgia with the two days official visit, GHN reports.
"We are looking at the development of events in Belarus with the great interest. We understand well how big challenges face this country. But at the same time we know that it is no use to prove that Russia is a more democratic country than Belarus is. Unlike it is in Russia, Belarus does not occupy the neighbor countries. The policy of isolation with Belarus sometimes will indicate to the attempt to cease the sovereignty o Belarus and to pas it under the total control of Russian Federation. This is not admissible and this is not a productive step for the long term development of Europe. This is a very talented European people and such decision will badly affect the region. I believe that now as never before it is necessary to conduct a dialogue and the open talk about all questions which are for interests for all of us, " - Saakashvili said.
