Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi and Metropolitan bishop of Abkhazia and Pitsunda, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II after the divine service in the Kiev-Pechora Lavra, said that the current relations between Georgia and Russian are inadmissible and asked Russian Patriarch to help in restoration of friendly relations between these two countries.
"Those poltical relations which now are between Russia and Georgia are inadmissible, because we are both orthodox. Such relations established because of the envious attitude of our enemies. We have to make every effort to restore the brotherhood and friendly relations between our nations, "- Georgian Patriarch said.
