The USA Senate passed one more supporting resolution for Georgian statehood.
Particularly the document reads that Senate upholds the policy of USA for the sovereignty of Georgia, territorial integrity and borders safety. USA admits that Abkhazia and South Ossetia are territories occupied by Russian Federation.
The USA Senate calls Russian Federation to make steps to respect all provisions of the cease-fire agreement of 2008 signed between Georgia and Russia. Among the provision of the agreement is the return of the Russian Army to its pre war position and to allow the international humanitarian aid to the territories damaged as a result of military interference.
As well under the resolution Russia is called to allow IDPs from both conflict regions to return to own homes and to admit the international observation missions on these territories.
