The Georgian ex-President Eduard Shevardnadze calls President Saakashvili to make every effort to use any possible ways for restoration of dialogue with Russian Federation.
"In other ways Abkhazia and South Ossetia could not be possible to return, "- Shevardnadze said in his interview with the Georgian newspaper "Asaval Dasavali". In such circumstances, the only beam for hope is a meeting of Russian and Georgian Patriarchs in Kiev.
At the same time Eduard Shevardnadze said he doubts that "If at this way of restoration the Georgian Patriarch will reach any success, less likely the Georgian government will uphold it, " - Shevardnadze said.
Despite this Shevardnadze said he calls the Georgian government to uphold Patriarch and to establish contacts with Russia.
