The Bill for the elections code amendments was initiated by the political party Free Georgia, GHN reports. For the support of amendments 45 000 signatures were gathered. At the same time according to the legislation 30 000 signatures are necessary. All signatures are registered according to the law and notary approved in the Sakrebulo.
The signatures were collected all over the Georgia including Abkhazia. The initiatives signed 150 dwellers of Gli region.
According to the legislation in Georgia the Parliament should consist of 150 MPs, who will be elected over the regional proportional system.
