The USA Congress' Senate resolution about the cease of "occupation " of Abkhazia and South Ossetia is next one disrespect to Russian Federation, which will not give any practical steps, Dmitri Rogozin, permanent representative of Russian Federation to NATO said in his interview.
USA senate in USA published the resolution in which the Russian Federation was blamed for occupation and was called to respect the territorial integrity and independence of Georgia.
"Russia cannot occupy the state which it recognizes as an indeendent state and from which Russia got an invitation to dislocate on its territory the Russian troops. If the Russian Army would be dislocated on the territory of other state against the will of that state, this no doubt would be occupation. But here the other case is: RF recognized the territorial independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia and the authority's f these states invited the RF for the military presence on its territory. This is a temporary measure which is invoked by the aggression of the neighbor state - Georgia. This happens because the other international organizations as NATO or EU refused to provide guaranties Abkhazia and S.O. for the non aggression from Georgia. In such circumstances the military presence is the only factor providing with the stability in the region, "- Russian representative in NATO said.
The question is out of the agenda on the Russia-NATO Council sittings, as this question is not disputable having no ground. "If USA Senators lack the legal education we can provide them with our courses for increase of qualification in our Russian high schools, "- Rogozin said.
"In the politics one can be admired, or can frighten others but it is not admissible to be laughed at. The reputation of USA Senate is a question of USA honor. And it has no right to take decisions which are not backed with the real actions. This resolution is a next one disrespect of Russian Federation. It is not directed to any practical results. This is only a demarche which causes only astonishment and doubts in the adequacy of USA authorities.
Rogosin believes that the resolution is motivated for the "internal political ambitions of some Senators to get the additional sympathy of electorate. I a sure that the USA Senators totally are indifferent to the situation in Abkhazian S.O. and as well in Georgia, at the same time in Russia. Taking this decision they are trying to be admirable by USA electorate. This decision having no material nether legislative ground is directed to the discrediting of the reset policy with RF which started by President Obama."
"I consider the USA Congress resolution as a misunderstanding, which was passed by the politicians who are aspired with own desirable ends, "- Rogozin said.
