On February 8-11 the visit delegation of Spanish businessmen is planned in Georgia. In the frames of the visit Spanish businessmen will meet with the representatives of the economic and financial sector of the Georgian state and will be introduced with the investment environment in the country on site.
According o the preliminary information, Spanish businessmen are interested in energy, transport, environment and infrastructure areas. It is a major event for the additional investments in Georgia, as at this time a wide spectrum of the Spanish businessmen will be present.
We remind you that on January 11, Zurab Pololikashvili, Economic development Minister hosted members of the Spanish Kingdom Congress - Huan Moscos, Alex Saes and a Spanish businessman Carlos Caba. At the meeting questions of easing of the trade-customs regimes, agreements on free trade and the membership of Georgia as EU associative member were discussed.
Before the meeting with guests Minister declared that Spain became a chairman country of EU, so Georgia has to use this period of time actively. "Disposition of Spanish businessmen is very positive towards Georgia. Upon these people depends the future relations of Georgia and EU, "- Pololikashvili said.
"At the today's meeting we as well will review the "Eastern partnership". Georgia has an important role in a future development of EU in respect of a democracy and trade, " - Huan Moscos said.
