The question of former TV-Center liaison was discussed today by the parliamentary fraction Unity for Fairness. They invited Vera Qobalia, economic and sustainable development minister, but she being in absence for business trip refused to come.
Giorgi Tsagareihvili said that he believes that the decision for sale of TV-Center is a step against the free media. For this reasons the circumstances of sale should be explained.
The legislative aspects of the question were discussed by the representatives of GYLA. The fraction sitting as well attended the Media coalition members. They demanded to suspend the auction and to hold a public discussion.
The member of the fraction Dmitri Lortkipanidze said that ht e TV-Radio Center sale will put restraints to the free media. And the media should unite to protest against such decision. He demanded that the strong estimation should be made for the fact of absence of representatives of executive government on the sitting. He demanded Davit Bakradze to react to this occasion. In this respect the responsibility of government should be defined.
