Today on February 1 the parties participating in Primary will pass an elections code. Koba Davitashvili, leader of opposition party declared to the news agency GHN that the new elections code will approve all those political parties which agree to elect City Mayor through the Primary elections.
At the same time the consultations are pending with the parties which are not willing to participate in the primary elections.
"The consultations will continue, and this door always will be open. We are not going to close the door for those who are willing to join us, "- Davitashvili said.
The signature of the elections code is planned at the hotel "Best" at 13:00.
We remind you that the initiators of the primary elections for the City Mayor elections are "People's party", "Conservators" and the movement "Fair Georgia". After several month of consultations the suggestion of Davitashvili-Dzidziguri-Nogaideli was uphold only by "Manufacturers", "Whites", Future Party", "King's crown", "Greens" and "Christian Georgia".
