Constantine Zatulin, MP of Russian Duma said that Putin's position about the possible entering of the S.O. to RF is a signal that Moscow is ready to "respect the will of South Ossetia people".
"The mere fact of this question discussion is not extraordinary one. One would wonder if in RF they said that this is impossible. Notwithstanding this, there is not any beginning of some process, as the beginning should start from the will of S.O. people, "- Zatulin said.
The expert in politics believes that for this question decision the appropriate time is necessary. ‘We should minimize the consequences of this decision, which would arise from the international community, ‘- he noted.
In fact the only restraining factor in this respect is the international situation and the attitude of the international community. No doubt Georgia would say that the S.O. is annexed, if such decision for joining S.O. to RF would be taken.
At the same time Zatulin pressures the point that the S.O. people are not dividing themselves to the Southern and Northern part.
