Nino Burjanadze, leader of the Democratic Movement asks the Journalists' Ethics Council and experts in media to study the activity of the Georgian TV channels, GHN reports.
The Democratic Movement considers that those organizations have to get interested with the activity of mass media which are under the governmental control.
Nino Burjanadze accuses several TV channels in unjust and biased information which they gave in connection with the events on May 26 after the riot police dispersed the protest action at the Rustaveli aven. "They disseminated the information dictated under the Saakashvili'sdirection, the aim of which was to make Burjanadze and her allies as murders."
"The well known film records which MIA disseminated over the TV ether, as if Burjanadze's escort hits a man after the protest dispersion as false."
