Vano Merabishvili, MIA Minister said the occurrence of criminal breaches in Georgia decreased considerably, GHN reports.
Merabishvili said this when opening the newly constructed building at the Moscow Avenue. He noted that the police now has less troubles and they are now mostly oriented for the serving the population.
"I am glad that in Georgia for the last period of time the criminal situation in country decreased considerably and the policemen are now mostly serving people. They are making the life more comfortable. I am glad that Georgia became one of the first countries with the much narrowed occurrence of crime. We are successful in fight against drug abuse. I am satisfied that all kinds of crime decreased in our country," - he said.
He noted that the MIA of Georgia will continue the construction of new buildings in Georgia.
