The copyrights for the film "Khodorkovsky" filmed by the German film director Kiril Tush the Contemporary Art Center "Vinzavod" ("Vine factory") purchased.
"From the beginning the price was too high. The negotiations started this year, but the dealing was accomplished successfully, "- Olga Paperina, director of the Art Center said.
The Center will present the film to the Russian spectators. The copyrights price was around USD 50-100 thousand. No information was provided about the exact price.
On February 11 of 2011 in Berlin the only copy of the film was theft. Nevertheless the film director has saved the copy of it in his Personal Computer. The film was showed on February 16 in Berlinale. No actins were taken against thefts as yet.
"A serious research was conducted by film director and he is not trying to manipulate the spectator, " - Paperina said.
